Décor

When it comes to July 4th, there is nothing more appropriate than an American flag. There are plenty of ways you can add variety to the décor. One way is to add small flags in food or drinks. You can also use bunting or pennants with a flag theme. Some other décor options within this patriotic color scheme are streamers and balloons. Let your imagination take over. Don’t forget to decorate your pool! Pick up some flag-themed floats from your local Pinch A Penny.

Food

Eye-catching food is the hallmark of every good party. It will be the first thing your hungry guests are drawn to! There are plenty of classic summer foods to cook up on the grill, from hot dogs to chicken and burgers. There are also many delicious sides, desserts (Apple Pie, anyone?) and finger foods to plate. A cake decorated with berries to represent the flag is a staple of July 4. We are fans of the Big Green Egg and have the perfect burger recipe you can use.

Fireworks

No July 4 celebration is complete without the lights and the noise of a firecracker! Loved by all ages, festive fireworks have been a hallmark of Independence Day for many years. Just be sure to check your local laws for restrictions on the use of fireworks.

Really add some color with your pool with Party Pool. This will turn your pool a vibrant red of blue hue. It is not harmful or toxic, it’s basically just dye for your pool. You can still swim, float and play the day away!
