• Keep chemicals away from children and pets- a locked storage container in a cool, dry place is the best option for chemical storage
• Keep chemicals that are potentially corrosive, such as liquid chlorine and muriatic acid, away from metal items such as bicycles and lawnmowers
• Never mix different chemicals together. When you need to add more than one product, add them separately
• Wear protective equipment such as gloves, a mask to avoid breathing fumes and long clothing to avoid skin exposure
• Never add water to chemicals when using a mixing pail
• Do not smoke or vape around chemicals

• Dilute small spills with pool water
